Okay, so I follow a lot of blogs, and I’ve heard that Bloglovin can simplify the experience by. . . wait, how does it work?
I just signed up for a Bloglovin account and apparently had to paste the above link into this post in order to claim my WordPress blog. That’s all I know so far.
If you use Bloglovin, I’d love to hear from you with any tips or insights. Thanks!

I mean, I signed up for one/claimed my blog over there, but I’m still sitting here like… “Why?! did I do that exactly?!”

Hahahahaha. Can totally relate. From what I can tell, I think it´s good to at least make sure our blogs are listed there.

Hi! I use Bloglovin’ so I should be able to help 🙂
So, you know there are different blog sites like WordPress, Blogger and Blogspot? Well Bloglovin let’s you follow all of them in one place. Because you can’t follow your favourite Blogger sites on your WordPress reader! 🙂
It also means other blogs that aren’t from WordPress can follow you on Bloglovin too.
Does that help? 🙂

Hi, Morgan! as my resident Bloglovin guru, I was hoping you could answer this question. If people follow blogs using Bloglovin, does that mean they’re NOT following them on the original blog site?

Hi :).
People can only follow blogs on the sites they are signed up with e.g. WordPress. But, I can follow you on WordPress AND Bloglovin’ as it means I’ll definitely never miss your posts.
So, no. If someone is following you on Bloglovin, and they’re also on WordPress, they still have the option to follow you here too :).

I have an account and follow lots of blogs, but I don’t generally use it to read blog content…
I added a Bloglovin button on my blog because I know some people use it like I use the WordPress Reader to keep track of the blogs I follow. It’s simply another way to manage the blogs you read.
Perhaps one day I actually use it personally, but for now I just have the option for people to follow me there because options are important.

Oh, of course! Having a Bloglovin account so people can connect with you there makes perfect sense.

I just downloaded the Bloglovin app and it’s great! I may start using it more than the WordPress Reader. The only problem I see is running into Blogspot blogs…I usually have a difficult time commenting on those blogs

Now I’m totally going to check out the Bloglovin app. Thanks for the recommendation.

Eve’ I’ve never heard of it but reading your comments it sounds helpful and I’ve had people from other blogging sites visit and then I sort of lose track of them – I’ll see how to sign up for this. Thanks for posting about this and making me aware of it. Have a lovely day. 😀

I’ve just recently joined, too! But like you, I’m in the same boat. In any case, I just followed you with my new account over there! This sounds like fodder for a new blog post (:

Yay, thanks for following me on Bloglovin! Someone told me recently that using Bloglovin can help reduce the huge stream of email notifications from bloggers publishing new posts. I’m not sure how to work that angle yet.

Interesting, I’ll have to look into that. Currently, all my WordPress subscriptions are automatically filtered into a separate email folder for easier sorting. But like you said, any publicity can’t be bad, right?

Hey I use Bloglovin’ and I love it. It’s like Pinterest but with blogs. And it is another way for people to be able to follow your blog and well – who can go wrong with that?!
