Yay, I’m so glad you could get something out of it! How’s your writing coming along these days?

My full-time job allows only occasional episodes in my flash fiction series ‘Oh. My. Dog!’. I hope that there’s more time for writing between December 22 and January 11… 😉

Yes, yes, yes. I’m so looking forward to all the writing I’ll do during winter break. Are you a teacher, too?

Seems like we are all aching for our writing breaks… 😀
I am not a teacher, my IT projects are on hold for the winter break – to give the team members the opportunity for some family time.

Great tips, but I love to slouch on the couch.

This was a great post. Thank you for sharing it.
I’m finding that I have to be really flexible on the weekends. If I can get an hour of writing in, great. If the kids come and wake me to snuggle, snuggling is going to win every time. 🙂

I totally get what you mean. I’ve been trying to reestablish mornings as my writing time, so when my daughter came in this morning wanting to chat it was hard to break away but I did, and I’m glad. I’m not gonna lie; it’s a bummer that I haven’t been able to get back into the writing groove yet today, but in the whole scheme of things, relationships are the most important.

It’s really a balancing act of writer and real life especially with kids!

Isn’t it an awesome list? I’m glad it will come in handy for you. How’s your YA fantasy coming along?

It’s coming along well, I’ve stopped working on it for the past week because of my busy life schedule, but soon I will get back on track!

Glad you liked it, Mary Cathleen. There aren’t many writing how-to’s I’d repost, but Nathan’s was too good to pass up.
