Stick close to your novel until it’s done so you’re less tempted to break up with it. #amwriting #writer

When I’m writing my novel, I love it.

But when I’m away for too long, doubt sets in and I’m filled with everything that’s wrong with it.

With a novel in progress, distance makes the hard grow colder, so stick close to your novel until it’s done, nurture it every day, and you’ll be less tempted to break up with it.

  1. Yes!! Thank you for posting this! I took some time off for my birthday this weekend from writing and the Doubts are creeping in. Have to get back in to it soon!

  2. I had a question. My homepage is where I put all of my blog posts and I wanted to have another page so I could put all my reviews and tags there. I know how to add pages ,but I don’t know how to put blog posts in them. Can you please explain. THANKS

  3. Eve! You’ve spoken so true to me right now. These are words I need to live by as I write my current novel. I adore it and I really don’t want to drift away from this one the way I did with my last.
    Lovely post 😊
